It's actually not. Kiku - Ichimonji is a name given to certain swords forged by specific swordmiths that worked for the Emperor. The name was mentioned in Konosuba but as a reference to that same thing.

I am more glad author decided to make Katou and Sasaki turn into "important" characters in the manga, unlike the time he said theyre not relevant on later chapters. And this episode shows that theyll be a bit more relevant later on.
